Innovathon 2025: LEGIC Team «Funky Monkeys» triumphs in Mobility Challenge
The Innovathon 2025 «The Digitalization of Mobility» pitch brought together nine inventive student teams to present their cutting-edge solutions aimed at transforming mobility. The event showcased brilliant ideas, with the winning project offering an innovative keyl for LEGIC to enhance accessibility from the moment of an accident through to full recovery.
The event concluded with the announcement of the winning team, Funky Monkeys with Jannis Bertling, Frederik Güntensperger, Sandra Kollat Menon, and Huijiao L. who won the jury award with their concept “Inclusivity is key!” Team PASSable with Andy Aidoo, Florin Allmendinger, Alyssa Victoria Pühringer, and Gianni Stiffler who won the audience award with their shared micro-mobility solution.
The jury, composed of leading experts from both the scientific community and key challenge partners, such as Swisscom, MOVE AG, LEGIC and Swiss Pass evaluated the solutions on various criteria. These included innovation, interdisciplinarity, feasibility, impact, scientific grounding, and presentation quality.
The Innovathon has emerged as a platform not only for solving pressing challenges but also for cultivating the next generation of innovators. Through teamwork, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving, students from various disciplines came together to shape the future of digital mobility in Switzerland. The winning project is just one example of the limitless potential that emerges when diverse minds unite for a common cause.
