Receiving Credits

Eligibility and Requirements

Master's and doctoral students across all UZH faculties who are interested in the digitalization of work, motivated to develop ideas based on real life challenges and to improve their innovation and interdisciplinary teamwork skills. 

The course is eligible for 3 ECTS credits.

It is also possible for students from ETH, ZHAW and ZHdK to earn ECTS credits; however, this still needs to be clarified internally. In any case, students will receive an official certificate of participation.

For more information on ECTS credits, please consult the UZH course catalogue. Not all study programs will cross-list this module. In such cases, students can contact their study administration office to clarify if they will receive ECTS for this course.

To enrol for this course and be eligible for ECTS credits, students should have registered on the UZH course catalogue (Registration possible from Wed 13.08.2025 10:00 to Tue 26.08.2025 24:00). Confirmed participants interested in the course will be manually enrolled by the course organizers.

The successful completion of the course requires:

  • Presence and active participation during all course sessions
  • Developing and presenting a solution to a challenge to a jury
  • Submitting short assignments, as outlined below (templates available on Teams)
