  • SEP 10 - 11: Teaching sessions

    (UZH Center, SOC-E-010, Rämistrasse 69, 8001 Zürich)

    In 2 days of teaching sessions, students learn about recent developments, challenges, and opportunities in relevant fields (e.g., legal, social, ethical, economic) from lecturers from various fields.

    Interactive discussions on different topics, peer teaching, team exercises, intro innovation methods, introduction of real-world challenges by partners.
  • SEP 15: Design Sprint Kick-off

    Challenge introduction: Practice partners present real-world problems for students to tackle. There are three partners in total, with one challenge each.

    Understanding the challenge: Students engage in Q&A sessions with practice partners to gain a deeper understanding of the problem.
  • SEP 17 - 19: Design Sprint

    (TBA)

    Innovathon Weekend: A focused 48-hour sprint where students generate creative ideas and develop initial prototypes.

    Develop prototype & interview peers to test your concept
  • SEP 22: Dry run

    (TBA)

    Refine your solution and prepare your pitch with targeted training. Practice during a dry run and receive constructive feedback to help you sharpen both your message and your presentation.

    1 page, 500-600 words (insctructions will be given in advance)
  • 4 min pitch presentation (by SEP 29)

    Pitch in front of a jury with the concept or prototype that the student team (3-4 students) has developed.
